Shandong Heavy Industry  India Pvt.Ltd., a subsidiary of the over USD 36 Billion SHIG group achieved a major milestone in the EV bus segment in India with an order for 30 numbers  EV chassis supplied and supported by their group subsidiary ASIASTAR. The deliveries expected to be completed by May 2019 to its distinguished partner in India. As the group business synergy platform in south Asia, this is one of the biggest order achieved through the years and a very fantastic start in first quarter of 2019.

SHIG INDIA, with its manufacturing plant in Pune, Maharashtra represents the group’s world renowned engineering products that include  trucks & buses, Electric vehicles  ( ASIASTAR) ,Drivetrain systems like Diesel & Gas engines ( WEICHAI & BAUDOUIN), Axles ( HANDE) , Gearboxes ( FASTGEAR), Hydraulics ( LINDE), to name a few.
